The Bash was a success!

It was a magical night! Everyone was dressed in their best masks. The food was one of the best parts: delicious and healthy! We featured a smoothie bar, Kettle chips, gogo Applesauce and SunRype fruit strips, along with healthy baked goods donated by parents. Thanks to everyone who came. Please visit this tumblr and look at photos from March 2 for some great photos. - by guest blogger Zoe

Have you ever thought about how fun it would be to go back in time and appear at a masquerade ball? Well the chance is now if you want to go to the annual Barton Hills bash! If dancing isn't your thing, we'll have fun games and plenty of snacks. You should ask your friends to go with you because the more people you can get to go, the more fun you will have! We have a great DJ, the best in town in fact! The money goes for a great cause: making sure everyone is included in end of the year events. By Ava S and Zoe M, guest bloggers

Masquerade Bash at BHE

Barton Hills Elementary is going to host a Masquerade Ball on March 1. The event is a fundraiser for 6th grade graduation expenses, so that each child will be able to participate. The dance will feature local food donations from People's Pharmacy, Whole Foods and other local donors. Event chair Gina Girolami stated "The focus is on food that tastes good, and happens to also be nutritious. Those things don't have to be exclusive!" For more information about the event, including how to donate or attend, please leave a comment on this blog.
